Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Fresh Pumpkin Puree, Click here for Recipe
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg plus 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, optional

  • Whipped cream, for topping

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Place 2 piece pie dough down into a (9-inch) pie pan and press down along the bottom and all sides. Pinch and crimp the edges together to make a pretty pattern. Put the pie shell back into the freezer for 1 hour to firm up. Fit a piece of aluminum foil to cover the inside of the shell completely. Fill the shell up to the edges with pie weights or dried beans (about 2 pounds) and place it in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes, remove the foil and pie weights and bake for another 10 minutes or until the crust is dried out and beginning to color.

For the filling, in a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer. Add the pumpkin and beat until combined. Add the sugar and salt, and beat until combined. Add the eggs mixed with the yolks, half-and-half, and melted butter, and beat until combined. Finally, add the vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger, if using, and beat until incorporated.

Pour the filling into the warm prepared pie crust and bake for 50 minutes, or until the center is set. Place the pie on a wire rack and cool to room temperature. Cut into slices and top each piece with a generous amount of whipped cream.

Doughnut with Glazed

Doughnut with Glazed

  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup vegetable Oil
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2¼ tsp Red Star Active Dry Yeast

  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 TBSP boiling water
  • ¼ tsp vanilla

Have liquid ingredients at 80°F and all other ingredients at room temperature. Place ingredients in pan in the order specified in your owner’s manual. Select dough/manual cycle. Do not use delay timer. Check dough consistency after 5 minutes of kneading. The dough should be in a soft, tacky ball. If it is dry and stiff, add water, ½ to 1 TBSP at a time. If it is too wet and sticky, add 1 TBSP of flour at a time. After dough cycle is complete, continue with Shaping.

Ingredients :

* Fla Filling

  • 1000 ml Milk 
  • 4 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 4 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 Cup sugar 
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
* Pastry

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 stick butter
  • 1.5 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 6 Eggs

Directions :

Making Fla :

Boil milk in medium heat, add sugar, whisked eggs, mix together until well blended. Work in batches, add all purpose flour and corn starch while whisking it. Stir constantly until the fla starts to become firm. Add Salt and Vanilla extract. Keep on low heat for 20 - 30 mins until the fla becomes firm.

Making Pastry :
Boil water with butter until all butter is melted. Add sugar and salt. Work in batches, add all purpose flour to mixture. Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Let it sit for 5-10 mins at room temperature. Move the batter to a large bowl, add eggs and mix it together. 

Preheat oven for 350 F. Pour the batter into piping bag, and shape it in baking pan (spray with butter). How to shape it? click in here.  

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and let it sit at room temperature before you fill it.

After pastry done, cut it half and fill the pastry with fla. Sprinkle with confection sugar on top.

Tongseng Sapi

Tongseng Sapi

- 500 gram daging sapi (rebus dengan bawang merah, putih, garam, dan lada)
- 3 lembar daun kol, rajang kasar
- 2 buah tomat merah, potong dadu
- 2 batang daun bawang rajang halus 

Bumbu, haluskan:
- 5 butir cabai merah keriting
- 4 butir cabai rawit merah 
- 3 siung bawang putih
- 4 siung bawang merah
- 1 sendok teh merica butiran
- 1 ruas jahe
- 4 butir kemiri, sangrai
- Minyak untuk menumis

Bumbu lainnya:
- 3 lembar daun jeruk, sobek-sobek
- 1 batang serai, pipihkan
- 1 sendok makan bumbu kari bubuk
- 3/4 sendok makan garam, tambahkan jika kurang asin
- 1 sendok makan gula pasir
- 2 sendok makan kecap manis
- 1 sendok teh kaldu bubuk (optional)
- irisan cabai rawit, jika kurang pedas 

Cara membuat:

Panaskan 2 sendok makan minyak goreng, masukkan bumbu halus, daun jeruk dan serai. Tumis hingga harum dan berubah warnanya. Masukkan daging sapi, tumis dan aduk-aduk hingga daging berubah warna.

Tambahkan air, garam, gula, bumbu kari bubuk dan kaldu bubuk, masak hingga daging empuk dan kuah sedikit menyusut. Masukkan kecap manis, aduk rata. Tambahkan daun kol, dan cabai rawit iris (jika pakai) dan masak hingga daun kol layu dan setengah matang. Tambahkan daun bawang, aduk-aduk dan cicipi rasanya. Masukkan tomat, matikan api kompor dan angkat tongseng.

Cinnamon French Toast with Caramel Sauce and Almond

Cinnamon French Toast 

  • Italian White Bread
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • Butter to cook bread in skillet

Directions :
  1. Prepared large bowl and whisk eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, allspice, and salt. 
  2. Place bread slices in egg mixture and soak
  3. Melt butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Cook bread in hot butter until golden, about 3 -5 minutes per side. 
  4. Sprinkle choco chips, almond and Caramel Sauce in top of the bread.
  5. Served while hot

Prol Labu

Bahan :

  • 180 gr All purpose flour
  • 20 gr susu bubuk full cream
  • 350 gr fresh pumpkin puree
  • 200 gr gula pasir
  • 3 butir telur
  • 2 sdm susu kental manis
  • 400 ml santan
  • 125 gr (9tbsp) butter
  • 1/2 sdt vanilla exctract
  • 1/2 sdt garam
  • pecans
  • almonds
  • raisins

Cara membuat :
  1. Panaskan oven 350 F 
  2. Kocok gula pasir, telur, vanili, garam, dan susu kental manis sampai mengembang 
  3. Masukan terigu dan susu sedikit demi sedikit sambil diaduk. Tambahkan santan sambil terus diaduk. 
  4. Masukan labu halus, aduk rata. Masukan mentega yang sudah dicairkan. Tuang adonan ke dalam loyang yang sudah di olesi mentega dan di tabur tepung. adonan untuk 1 loyang bulat ukuran 9” dan 12 cup muffins size. 
  5. Taburkan pecan chips, almond and raisins 
  6. Panggang selama kurang lebih 40 - 60 menit tergantung panas oven, tusuk dengan lidi untuk memastikan kematangannya.
